Would definitely recommend, it has the best prices in stepantminda with top quality and new equipment. The lady who works there is absolutely lovely and really helped us out, giving lots of advice and linking us up with guides. me and friends went here with no mountaineering experience and ended up summiting kazbek, thanks to her encouragement and advise. The equipment was all in perfect condition and all the staff were great, I definitely recommend.

Подобрали мне группу (двое ребят из Германии) и гида. Гид был грузин (Нодари). Парень свое дело знает. Ему бы еще иностранные языки подучить. Если планируете восхождение на Казбек рекомендую пользоваться услугами местных гидов. Гиды приезжие, как правило, сами смотрят на местных или просто идут за ними. В офисе работают, судя по всему, сами хозяева компании. Даро привет из Омска! Очень дружелюбны и приветливы. Из-за непогоды пришлось увеличить количество дней аренды снаряжения. Дополнительную плату с меня не взяли. Реально в Степанцминде альтернативы MTA нет.

The guys at MTA are real mountaineers, focused on helping (not-so-prepared and not-at-all-accustomed to the area) tourists complete their project of climbing mt. Kazbek. I was impressed by how quickly they replied to my e-mails (even on weekends) and helped me organize our budget-friendly trip. We hired a horse for luggage and rented equipment – both services perfect. Then during our stay at Bethlemi hut we arranged again a horse to bring our luggage down over the phone and for the next morning totally hastle-free. A word about their competition in Kazbegi (Mountain freaks): i relied on Mountain Freaks for 2 things (buying gas and transport to the church). I had contacted them in advance via Facebook for prices and to ask them for transport. when I arrived at their office, turned out nothing of our facebook arrangements was as planned – price of gas was 5 lari more per container and their deivers could not take us – so we had to turn once again to MTA to fix things. Thank you MTA for spendin your time working for the tourists and not for your image on social media as your competition!

All recomendations for Mountain trevel agency! You can rent equipment, or order guides or transport if needed. Also they have horses to carry your equipment and backpaks up to the mountain. Daro speeks English very well, so you can arrange and agree everything with her. Thanks for everything!
