Acclimatization for Mount Kazbek

When planning to climb Mount Kazbek (5,054m), proper acclimatization is the most important factor for your success and safety. We must go through a proper acclimatization process to ensure a safe and successful climb to the top. Kazbek stands at 5,054 meters, and at this altitude, the oxygen levels drop significantly. If you ascend too fast, your body won’t have time to adjust, and you risk altitude sickness, which can cause headaches, dizziness, and  nausea. To prevent this, we follow a structured acclimatization plan that will give your body time to adapt to the altitude before the summit attempt.
